CAUGHT A BOLT OF LIGHTNING, CURSED THE DAY HE LET IT GO

Last day in New York took the ferry to Staten Island and back to see the Statue of Liberty. Flying home last night we flew through a lightning storm, never seen lightning like that before, probably one of the coolest things ever. Many thunder and lightning storms while I was out east, so different than Vancouver, kept trying to take pictures of them but photographing lightning is almost impossible. Perhaps some things should be left to our own memories, that no one but you saw or experienced. Makes those memories extra special, because you know what it meant to you and how you felt at that time, and no one can take that away from you.
